    Keogh Scores

Keogh scored for Ireland in the game against Portugal yesterday. Unfortunately it was an 'own goal'

He was arguably at fault for every single goal.

I think he would be a good right back.

Now Eustace is taking a back seat, I am thinking of turning my angry eye to Keogh.
Never convinced me since I first saw him in the friendly at Mansfield.
Most awkward footballer I have ever seen.

Yet he was a consistent member of a back four in a team that came 3rd in the championship!!!

Sure there are undeniably better players out there, but at what cost in either wages, transfer fee or both???

Really? He is more so than other players? He is a million pound centre half, if we going to slate him for his mistakes, then lets at least give him credit for the times he has saved us points!

We do need some perspective here, if he was a better player he most likely wouldnt be at Derby, given the financial constraints operating in the championship, would you really go out and blow say £2 or £3 million or more replacing Keogh when there are other positions that need filling first?
    K
eogh is a very good centre half at this level, sure IF we fgot promoted neither he or Bucko would be first choice given other options but as thing

Fully agree swale, it's all getting a bit ridiculous now. We will have a set budget, if we intend on buying Thorne , replacing Wisdom, and improving the squad generally, do we really expect an improvement on keogh, who is a decent championship CB. I don't know if peoples priorities are skewed or if they have't considered the realities of our finances (going on our past few seasons) but its not hard...do we replace keogh expensively or do we get a new RB and Thorne /replacement for thorne...
