    Tropical at the mo !

    hope yr all enjoying the WC , only watched a couple of games so far ...i will be watching brazil later though

    Same here, JJ, started cloudy, sunny later on, now only two hours from sunset and still a good'un. High about 20C.

    Very much so, BW, but it took a lot of sacrifices to get here:

    1) Two years, five days a week working after "work" contacting schools long distance, tailoring resumes to fit their needs, etc, before getting a job;

    2) Moving 3,000 miles from home, leaving wife behind to finish her contract with the University, separated except for brief holiday visits, for months at a time;

    3) Getting her here, her finding a position at a local University and then finding a house;

    4) Taking a year to sell old house back "Home" then buying one here with a difference of -$124,000 and a five year loan to pay it off;

    5) Finding new doctor, dentist, etc. adjusting to a rainy, wintery climate where a week could go by with only ten minutes of sun to show for it.

    Still, at the end of the day, the struggle was worth it, of course we are now in an earthquake zone ...but no more than two inches of snow most years (Mo
