Agree strongly, don't see how they can resist it here. Hopefully it works in the rain.
Doubt we can afford it in Lg.2 though.![]()

That evaporating stuff the refs spray to ensure the ball stays put and the defenders remain 10 yards back.
When I first saw it I wondered what the hell was going on, but now I think it works and is a great idea.
I'd love to see it in the prem. There would be shedloads more goals from free kicks.
Agree or disagree?

I saw this being tested out years ago and it seemed like a good idea then, don't understand why it's taken so long
Simple ideas are generally the best and this is a great one.
I've noticed that some teams are still encroaching but not nearly as much as they used to.
Seems to work at keeping the wall at 10 yards, doesn't seem to work in creating more free kick goals.
Has there been one yet?
Seems that Premier League officials think that ball movement and encroaching are not significant problems and have no immediate plans to introduce the spray.Originally Posted by Pentridge
I, like you, would have thought it was a no-brainer..
On a side note, I did laugh when the Dutch player whinged at the ref for spraying it on his boots! It's not paint!![]()
