    The UK government does care about the north

    Of England.

    Invest in the infrastructure to help as far north as Manchester and Leeds.

    That's a thing that has bugged me for a while why the feck is the high speed link no going through Glasgow / Edinburgh/ and Aberdeen . That rail link should be for all as a going concern

    To be fair it's costing an absolute fortune to build it to Manchester and Leeds, and that's only about half-way to Glasgow/Edinburgh.

    Scotland is the north Leeds and Manchester is the south. The dead centre is haltwhistle just south of hadrians wall. And that's a fact.

    Osborne never mentioned it in his HS3 announcement. He forgot to mention south east and west Scotland too
