Moorlad: 100 Years of Solitude was great on CD. Better than reading it. Read by the great Brit reader Lee

Just picked up "Invisible Man" by Ellison (seem to remember it being recommended on here by some good reader or another)

About a third of the way through - WOW!!!

It had to be a forerunner comedic novel for many other who wrote after him. Certainly, it is also a poignant expose on racism in America too.

There is the Grass's Tin Drum in it, Vonnegut's stuff, Kesey's stuff (really there) and certainly a bunch of "A Confederacy of Dunces" by Toole (The funniest book I have ever read)

The smoker, the incest dream, the Golden Day - a sporting club, vespers, the power meeting, the paint factory, the insane asylum - All great stuff.

Do yourself a favor pick it up. DOUBLE WOW!!!
