    Glasgow - transport question

We've tickets for the Commonwealth games, boxing on Sunday evening,27th July.

Accomodation is a big nit, what's the best /safest place to park/leave the car and find it in one piece when I get back.Coming down from the North...

I'm saying there is no accomadation available in Glasgow that night so we'll head home after the event, probably about 9,30 -10 pm

Oh right, I'd say Peking near a Subwat station would be the way to go but suppose that depends where the venue is.

Venue is the secc/hydro and I'm coming down from the North.

Does the subway not shut early on a Sunday?

If you phone them they'll keep it open later for you.

Normandy hotel, a safer car park you will not find.

Technically not Glasgow but ho hum.

As far as I know it's extended opening hours for the games but if you're going to the Hydro the Subway won't be much good for you.

Your best bet would probably be the car park at Pacific Quay beside the BBC building. If you're down with plenty of time to spare you should get a space ok or find one close by.

There's plenty of parking in Glasgow, you'll just have to pay for it.
