Derby County and Nottingham Forest in race with Premier League duo for Gareth McCleary

According to Sky Sports, Derby County and Nottingham Forest are reportedly in the race with West Bromwich Albion and Burnley for Reading winger Gareth McCleary.

McCleary, who only has a year left on his current contract, won’t have a decision made on his future at Reading until a takeover is sorted, but a number of clubs are said to be tracking the explosive Royals winger.

Nottingham Forest, McCleary’s former team, could face competition from East Midland rivals Derby County for his signature if he does in fact become available.

The other thing which remains to be seen is whether SP plays the same formation as last year or more of a 442.
