At least they had "fun songs" back then, the Barron Knights (for example) did nowt else. You never hear owt like them now.

Back in the day folk used to work real hard and when Saturday night came it was a fun night everyone danced and were much happier when out in the town not like now when there's far too much drunk folk wanting a scrap..

I also think there's a culture in the modern music industry of taking themselves awfully seriously, demonstrated by the likes of X Factor and Pop Idol. There simply is no room for a band that takes the pi55 out of other bands, or anybody making a record with lyrics you'd laugh at anymore. BRING BACK THE FUN I SAY!!
