We are being linked with Algerian captain Madjid Boughera who is a free agent. Couple of PL teams including Leicester City are also meant to be interested.

Good experienced player who has impressed at this level in the past with Crewe, Sheff Wed, and Charlton.

Would be a good signing.

Always thought he was a decent player, then after seeing him at the World Cup I wondered where the hell he'd been to, completely disappeared. A quick google shows he's spent the last 3 years playing for Lekhwiya in Qatar which would explain a lack of mention in the media. Still would be a decent signing although as a back-up, not a starter for me.

Can't see this happening, we've signed Whitbread as cover and O'Brian is still around somewhere, then there is Barker who might or might not ever kick a ball again for us in the background as well, are we really going to invest big wages on another CB when there are other positions that those wages could go towards?

Watched him quite a few times when he was at Wednesday, normally he was by far the best defender that they had, but never anything special. An above average defender but not a player to help us on to the next level.

meh. I'm not convinced at Keogh at full back. he seems to get skinned too easily if someone runs at him.
