    McCormack 11 million quid?

Fulham splash 11 M on McCormack?
Now this transfer for me has really put the cat among the pigeons.
1 in 3 hit rate, 27 years old, 11 caps and to my knowledge hasn't played in the top flight?

For me, this has just set a precedent for transfers in the Championship and it affects everyone.

Darlow and Lascelles have been targeted by Prem clubs, so their value has just shot up. In fact it probably makes QPR's 4 M offer look laughable.
Our neighbours Derby are going to use it as a yard stick as well, should a Hughes bid come in.
Personally, I hope he flops. This is a classic case of misuse of the parachute payments, that ****** us all up. That club has gone right down hill since it removed the Michael Jackson statue.
    Fingers crossed from me.

I know it's paper talk, but this is what's going to happen. Chipping here and there, to see where the threshold is. Even the offer of loaning him back has merit. - view external link

Perspective indeed. We know our targets will be free transfers or at very best a five figure purchase. We know we are the chihuahuas of the football world. But if you think of your club as GREAT DANES, maybe you should think more poodle.

Isn't a Staffie a brave, ferocious fighting dog?

Doesn't seem right for you somehow.
