The season ahead glass half full?or glass half empty?

For me maybe a bit of both if that's possible
If we keep the team we have now and add a couple of decent defenders we should be nailed on play offs/possible promotion however until that happens I am wavering around the half empty.

Never mind half full , its just about spilling over . We just need a couple of defenders and I reckon we are in with a great shout .
I`ll just add we also need better luck with injuries than we had last season .

Definitely half full, we ended on a high last season and so far this summer the signs are looking good...

    More than half full too.

A very good squad now ...the majority of the "big earners" jettisoned ..no interference from those above ..a manager who s now got HIS own squad ..top goalscorer pledging his future ..dare i say ..we ve no excuses now ?

Granted injuries could hamper us (same for all teams though) ..but with the squad we ve got (add a GK and a RB )all positions covered now.

The end of season unbeaten run showed us all the potential is there ..but new season new start ..time to be more consistent and more ruthless this season ..need to kill games quickly which we didnt do last season ..hopefully GB will have learnt one or two lessons and prove a few of us wrong ..me included.. that he can be a good manager not just a good coach.

Cant wait now ..first time in a few seasons were im actually confident we could do something special ..and with season ticket sales up according to the club all looking really positive !!

We have tightened up a bit, and slightly strengthened. Therefore I am expecting a slight improvement on last ssn. 7th or at a push 6th. Nothing points to auto promotion. Anyone turning up early on expecting that, and us blowing all in front away is in for a disappointment. Fully expect us to lose games, sometimes be poor. Aswell as win and play well. Im expectinga slowish start, but be there or there abouts still at xmas. And hope we push on from there. We have a decent squad now.

Just think we should be aiming a little higher than 7 th Champs.

A decent keeper from the off last season and an ability to close games from certain winning position would easily have yielded a good 10 points extra
Same squad with a few adiditions..as i said ..we saw the potential towards the end of the season ..its there ..just need that killer touch ..

The rhodes signing/extension gives out a message to the rest of the league we look like we may mean
