I was reading about a survey this morning in which Brits rated unexpectedly finding a five pound note in their pocket as the thing most likely to make them smile. Clean sheets, a cup of tea and a biscuit and the sun shining also scored highly.

So, what little things make you happy?

Blue skies and fluffy white clouds.

A really long bath.

Lovely people.

witnessing other peoples reunions at arrivals

an excited puppy with a ferocious waggy tail

the smell of clean sheets

finding a twenty in the coat you last wore a winter a go.

watching the birds feast on my old bread

getting an interesting idea

giving children the giggles.

The smell of fresh cut grass.
