A good day out. Friendly atmosphere. Forest fielded two teams which involved nearly all the players we had fit, which means Wilson, Hobbs and Cohen aren't there yet.
No sign of Henderson.
Lascelles was in the stands and when I asked him if he was injured he said no. Didn't want to pry further but that may be a sign he is on his way.
Des Walker was there watching his lad. He said it was a 'happy camp' and it certainly seemed like most of the players were playing for each other.
I noticed Pearce has a real soft-spot for McLoughlin. Gave him a lot of one to one attention and head patting and two spells out on the pitch. Pearce also spent a long time at the end talking to Reidy, He had Collins as captain today but I expect it wont be long before Reidy gets the armband.
My only concern was that the new Dutch lad seems a little isolated. He doesn't seem to understand English well and De Vries didn't spend anytime with him. Reidy and Cox had little chats with him but I doubt he could underst
