damo whats your point?are you saying because you've sighned some untried untested at prem level players, your much more advanced than we are.plus your not exactly sighning big money players,i would suggest dyche is building a side to bounce back up,rether than a side to stay up.so suppose in the next five years, you will have gone down and back up,say three times, thats ofcourse if your very lucky. In this five year period we could easily be doing the same,or better still staying up.we have recently completed 11 full premiership seasons.something burnley will never manage to achieve. Not sure if your just trying to wind people up or you genuinely mean what you say.but whatever it is damo its a pathetic uncorolated, nonsense statement, that makes you look a fool!Originally Posted by damodamo

"I've loved my time at Burnley but Bolton are 5 years ahead" or words to that effect.
Get y'selves back up Lancs town teams are thin on the ground in the Premiership. Good luck for next season.
No Juke hasn't gone to Burnley and this information comes from a reliable source.
Nixons tweet confirming if a fee agreed this should happen...
@reluctantnicko: Gibson due to call Gartside ... agent due to call Dougie ... Juke due to call Dougie ... Still waiting.
Also what he said if we don't get Juke..
@reluctantnicko: Would not want to be around your gaffer if Juke thing goes wrong ...
Whether we like it or not, Burnley are light years ahead at the moment.
They are not 150 million in debt, the last time I read it they not in debt at all.
They have got into the Premier League at the right time, money flooding in. So if Dyche could somehow keep them in the Premier League for 2 or 3 years they would be in a great position financially.
What is also true is that if they stayed in the Premier for 11 years, they to would get themselves into a financial mire, having to try and keep up with the Jones' of this world. Eventually they would have to pay out the dabs in extortionate transfer fees and wages.
Its going to be a big ask for them this season, but good luck to them.
I would think Burnley's long term plan is to upgrade their stadium and the longer they stay in the prem the more chance they have.
Burnley have quickly built a young and committed squad, pulled together through great motivation and got themselves promoted. 5 years is here nor there if you waste them like we have our last 5 years.
By that margin, Burnley are 10 years ahead!
Hopefully Dougie is eventually building a squad that can do the same.
Back on topic, you couldn't blame Juke if he opted for a year in the prem (or more) rather than a slog in the championship. But if he does come back here, we will know we have signed a committed player willing to fight for us. All I would suggest is that we had better bloody have a plan B in place rather than chasing one player all summer and then missing out.
Bang on there lee!!
Our plan B is wait for a loan to come our way lee or a freebie on low wages!Originally Posted by leebwfc
