    Ground Sponsorship and name change???

    From News@Den

    What are your thoughts lads/lasses.

Read some of the posts at the bottom of the piece!

I think the sponsorship part is a good idea but I wouldn't want a total change you have to keep the word 'Den' in there! - view external link

I don't like the idea of changing the of the stadium even if it is something like the Fosters den but I suppose the club need to look at ways of bringing in some money so as long as its not something stupid, The real den will always be the one at cold blow lane to me anyway

I feel the same way about the Cold Blow Lane ground LR but at least the new one is starting to feel like a 'DEN'

And as you rightly point out, bringing in money is a need not just a want.

If it has a '******* Den' at least we can still call it 'The Den'
I would hate it being called something fancy like 'The ***** Stadium'

I suppose everything has a price. If somebody comes up with a few million a year for naming rights then it will bed as per who's paying wants it to bed...but for the people who will be paying their match day tickets it will always be The Den... Manze As Den anyone?

They'd have to change "Let 'em come" if they change the

It seems all football clubs now sell their naming rights on the stadium - modern football, money overrules all
