where are we going to find 10 mill?

Carl Jenkinson has become the target of a potential £10 million bid from West Ham United after Arsenal finally landed Mathieu Debuchy.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is hoping the added competition after the arrival of Debuchy at the Emirates could improve his chances of signing England full back Jenkinson and take him across London.

Swansea City have also inquired about the 22-year-old while Newcastle, whom Debuchy arrived to the north London club from, are also reportedly interested, reports the Daily Mail.

West Ham, who took their transfer window shopping spree to four new players after announcing they had agreed a deal for Ecuador's World Cup star Enner Valencia, are also interested in taking the defender to the Boleyn on a 12-month loan.

Jenkinson featured in all three of Arsenal's opening three games of last season after the north London club were hampered by injuries to Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny.

In total he made 14 league a

being linked with so many now, the manu connection would certainly give BS a headache!

    from kumb..
The Mail are linking West Ham with an audacious double swoop for Manchester United pair Ashley Young and Wilfried Zaha.

According to writer Simon Jones, Sam Allardyce is mulling over offering both a season-long loan spell at the Boleyn. The future of both players is considered uncertain following the departure of former manager David Moyes.

    * Stephen Henderson is a transfer target for Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion, reports the local Argus. Only last week it looked as if Ipswich were in pole position to land the 26-year-old goalkeeper but the Seagulls are now considering a move following the departure of former number one Tomasz Kuszczak, who was released on a free transfer recently.

    * West Ham are once again considering a move for Arsenal full back Carl Jenkinson, according to various sources. The 22-year-old is likely to be surplus to requirements at the Emirates next s

Would be a very very good signing imho. Es*** lad so it could be a possibility if Le A.rse want to offload him. Wouldn't be anywhere near 10 million to buy him. More like 4 or 5. Sadly I can see Wenger wanting to keep him.

an update for what its worth..

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is looking to continue his busy transfer window this summer, with Carl Jenkinson next in line to join the club on a season-long loan, according to Goal.

West Ham have already been busy this summer after the signing of Enner Valencia recently, which followed up the acquisitions of Mauro Zarate, Diego Poyet, Aaron Cresswell and Cheikhou Kouyate.

Allardyce wants to bolster his back-line some more and with Guy Demel struggling to make the right-back position his own last season, the ex-Bolton boss knows Jenkinson can do the business.

The 22-year-old Englishman has a tough fight on his hands at the Emirates after the Gunners completed the signing of Debuchy last week, as Wenger looked to replace the void left by Bacary Sagna following his move to Manchester City a month earlier.

Wenger is expected to replace Jenkinson with Atletico Madrid youngster Javier Manquillo, who is set to join the club this week.
