    Anyone else here like cricket?

Apologies to Ed if it's one of his banned topics and if it is feel free to close down the thread.

But if it isn't what do folk think of the game at Lords today. Very finely balanced I think. Couuld go either way and much will depend on the first session tomorrow.

Hilarious watching that clown today sweeping the pitch and dragging his footnmark right along.

Gotta disagree AJ, when you know the intricacies it's a great game to watch - especially the 5 dayers if you've the time to watch.

There is a lot of snobbery with it mind

The coverage Sky give it is way ott. Anytime it shows you county grounds the stadiums are lucky if there's 500 people there.

The reason Sky give it so much is that it fills one of their 4 channels for 5 days at a time - even more than the golf, and it's played at such a pace that there's plenty of time for replay and comment - which plays right into the hands of a TV sports channell.

Mohan Ali's lost his wicket just before lunch btw. Gloved a shortball. It's now England 183-5 chasing 319. New ball in 3 overs
