ant ideas guesses what we had to spend . money from play offs plus what board owners promised. Steve etc. I know gt and new contracts have eaten into it . but I think we may be quietly surprised with what we could spend if right player comes along.

As in day to day life, if a bargain appears so will the money!
Well extra monies we've got coming in that we didn't in 12/13 are;
iPro money - £750,000 p/y
Just Eat - over £1,000,000
The screen and boarding now shows a greater range of advertisements - ???
Wembley money - £3,000,000
Brighton and Chelsea money - over £1,000,000
Marathon official betting partner - ???
I've probably missed some off that list as well. Obviously FFP is getting tighter but I'd imagine we still have a bit more to play with.
All the sponsorship monies from Ipro etc will have been already earmarked as general running costs I would assume and being eaten up in a larger wage bill. Also we need to fund the extension to Moor Farm that im sure I read about.
And, although our new sponsorship deals are prob worth more than last year's, the amount we need to take away for last years prob only leaves us with a small increase.
Think we should prob not spend any more unless we get some in.
I believe money spent on academy upgrades don't count towards FFP.Originally Posted by Beardyram

The exact sum is not known until after the play-off final, but it is expected that gate receipts and cash for drinks, food and merchandise raised a net income of approximately £6m. The Football League take a 50 per cent cut for staging the event – distributing the money between all 72 clubs – meaning the finalists would share £3m evenly.
But due to an agreement between both clubs the loser will get it all with the victor transferring £1.5m.
