    Chris Martin Contract

Anyone know what the situation with Martin's contract is?

In line with so many of the senior players has he extended?

I am sure I read he has 2 or 3 years left so there was no need to

No it runs until end June 2015 so perhaps they will be working on it

With the option to extend by a further year.

His contract finishes earlier than I expected then. I thought he had two more years and an option for a further year. Ideally we would nail him down to a 4 year deal like the other key players - he is absolutely pivotal to how we play!

He wants bigger bucks - quiet a lot more than what were paying him at the min.
