Promotion favourites - Will that be an issue?

Last season nobody fancied us for promotion, I got 25-1 just for promotion, with the bookies making us one of the favourites for promotion this season, could that be an issue?

    Maybe.

The thing we struggle to is most of break down banks of four. With us now being favourites I can see a lot more teams doing this. We need to conjure up a plan to deal with this and fast. I think it's why we were willing to splash a million on the Juke, he's an absolute aerial menace.

I really don't think this will be an issue. It's just we as fans have not seen a management & player quality for a long time & are just not completely aware of our potential.
In another post someone remarked that our back up squad could be competitive at this level speaks volumes. It just shows our quality.
All I can say going into the new season is: "Thank God we don't have to play us".

promotion is not won in the bookies, it is won over a 46 game season.

on that basis the championship will be wide open between at least half a dozen clubs, including no doubt a couple of dark horses as well.

Its an issue if your a gambler but other than that no not really

Maybe it could work in our favour with teams giving us a bit more respect when we play them...

But the bookies usually know sod all other than the The Prem so I wouldnt lose sleep over it
