Another good blog there RIcky and not too much to disagree with either.

I too reckon that Chelski and Citeh will fight it out for the top with the former nicking it. I also agree that Herrera is a great bit of business at Surrey Utd although personally don't think they've enough in the tank yet for top 3. IMHO Sanchez will galvanise that Ar$e midfield and, with a world class striker incoming, see them good for third.

    Keep 'em coming.

I was talking to a couple of Liverpool fans at work about how I felt their moment as potential Champions has passed, and was dismissed as a bitter Southampton supporter in view of the fact they've got our legendary centre-forward, captain, centre-half, corner flags, goal nets etc etc
I tried to explain my reasoning is that last season LFC benefitted from the double whammy that was the chaos at Man U and the form of Suarez the Vampire. Neither of those situations will be repeated for them this term.
I fully expect a top 4 of both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal. Normal service is resumed.

Last year was their chance and as the half breed Welshman points out, they'll be involved in the EC this year (albeit only briefly tbf) and then the Europa league which is even more of a toil.

I've not checked the markets but I reckon Manure could be a half decent bet for the title. They'll have no Champs League issues to worry about and I can't see them playing anything other than the reserves on Thursdays. We all know what van Gaal can achieve and he's making some decent signings.

City ought to romp it with their finances but they don't.
