Veldwijk vs Henderson

One piece of movement and header last night showed me so much why we can afford to let Henderson go. He never makes runs like that.

Hendo is a back post player yet I would say most of our crosses last season were into the middle. He never really moved into the middle to get ahead of anyone.

The cross from Harding was good to be fair but if we've got decent deliveries coming in (Reid, Vaughan,Pato, Cohen) we need someone who is going to go and seek to attack the ball. I reckon this lad can do that


Revell looked like a better version of Henderson as well I might add. Won everything at the back post. I reckon he could be a surprise package this season

From what I read Moussi, Veldwijk did more in 10 mins than Cox had done all game.

Henderson, couldn't trap a bag of sand. Battering ram. The kid is far superior and will get better.

Have to admit Revell surprised me a bit last season. I've seen him a few times and he always looked an average lower league target man, good in the air but never much goal threat. He seemed to find his scoring boots in the Miller's promotion push, but I still think he's got to show improvement if he's to make an impact in the Championship.

Its funny with Cox because I want him to find it but it doesn't look like he is going to. I thought Cox had one or two touches which were very good.

In those ten minnutes by the way, we put one cross in and we hit the post. Not saying we just need to chuck it into Lars because I reckon there is more to him, but we should have a bit of a weapon there for later on in games

Yeah probably but they are going to be so geared to him this season. I actually think they'll do alright this season. Signed some good players.

Broadfoot, Derbyshire, Loach, Green are all decent signings to help them stay up

Agreed. Let Cox go, but keep Hendo as an impact player when we need to go route 1 to get a goal to win or draw a game.
