    Carrol

I think some people want the bloke to fail. lots of folk on the forum and other forums just seem to want to have a dig at every opportunity. it aint his fault hes crocked is it. cant we just get behind him and be what west ham fans used to be in days gone by.

This could have been posted on the existing Carrol thread mate.

Having said that, I do agree that it is a shame for the lad.

I think had he cost a lot less people wouldnt have been so much on his back all the time, and i got to agree with the price tag being too high.

Unfortunately, not many of us pro Carroll are going to see the evidence of our convictions.

The positive to come out of this is that it has happened now and not four months in to the season. Thank f uck we are not relying on Carroll.
We have got to now go and get another striker, and we will see if Allardyce will play a different system., and earn his huge paypacket. I won't hold my breath though.
PS.. Crouch could be available :/

    from the OS

"West Ham United can confirm that Andy Carroll will have an operation on ligaments in his left ankle in the United States on Friday.

The England international will then have a week of recovery before starting an intensive period of rehabilitation, which is expected to take four months."

Im willing to bet hes now completely phukked...ligaments are worse than bones, once they get damaged to the extent that it sounds like his are in this instance , they never recover fully.
