    VALE v CREWE

First of all guys, the denial from you lot that we are not local rivals, quite honestly guys it's nothing short of laughable and a touch cringeworthy.

You always say your rivals are -

Wrexham - (You haven't played them for a flipping decade, and besides their rivals are and will always be Chester! They couldn't care less about playing Crewe)

Shrewsbury - (Harsh reality is, they care more about playing Vale than you lot as we stormed their pitch a couple of season ago, and deep down, you lot know it!)

    Macclesfield - (See Shrewsbury)

You don't have a club anywhere near as close as us in the football league, and the fact Crewe happens to be in Cheshire (you lot all get on your high horses as if Gresty Road were in the middle of flipping Alderley Edge high street!) means absolutely nothing. Tower hamlets is near Knightsbridge but it's still a dump if you get my point!

So, my point is guys, we've had some great games in the last 5 or 6 years.

Why not just ADMIT we are THE game for yo

I would love to enjoy it vale69 but the match has become nothing more than a headache. Classic example is that I have managed to get my 4 year old a season ticket for 14/15 but I refuse to take him when you boys are in town. My boy misses a match for the simple reason that his dad doesn't want him to witness fully grown men fighting over a sport. This rivalry that you are trying to promote is nothing short of pathetic and childish. I pity idiots that go looking for trouble, very sad people with very uneventful lives.

Has puberty kicked in yet or are you still at Junior school?

imagine wanting to hurt someone else purely because they support a different football team to you.

There are just as many Vale fans who say we are not rivals. One look on the One Vile Fan website at threads about us have many comments from Vale fans saying they don't care.

It is just unfortunate that Vale is stuck in the 70's - I also cannot take my kids to either game, there are just too many idiots following Vale.

    re: VALE v CREWE

This thread is another that sums up the reasons why I am so happy to be an Alex fan. The people I know go to games home and away to watch football and support our lads. If the opposition makes a mistake then, yes, it's a bit of a laugh, but the football always comes first.
It is sad, immature and a little childish to go to a football match to goad and cause trouble. I leave that to the less intelligent and the young ones who know no better.

We have our fair share of knobs heads granted. But let's not pretend their isn't an element of such behaviour at Crewe. The last few games certainly saw it with flares and bottles thrown etc.
The last figures show we have more arrests, but Crewe have more banning orders. Most (all but one) of our arrests are away, while crewes are all at home. Doesn't surprise me as we travel in numbers at times, which seems to attract the knobeads looking for trouble that you rarely see at home games.

agree with what all Alex fans have said. Its nice have the banter but some vale fans just take it too far and there is no need.Last season i was there at home standing outside the Alex Suite when an idiot vale fan just walks up to me asking if im the firm.He must of been mid to late 40's!!! People need grow up. Enjoy the atmosphere at these games but before and after matches is just pathetic and unfortunately for me, due to me living in Northampton, i have get the train home with these idiots
