Cook didnt get the century he so wanted, being out on 95 caught Dhoni bowled Jadeja. Ballance has got his ton however, 103 not out with Bell on 16 they have taken the score to 246 for 2

Big problems yesterday for fans getting to the test match on the m3, m27 and the Park and Ride. Today England have progressed gently on to 391 for 4, Bell on 93 with Ali on 5. Root was out to a Shipston schoolboy shot and I gather Ballance didnt touch the ball when given out caught behind ??

to Ian Bell who has just gone to his hundred with a straight six. That was also his 7000th run in Test Cricket Dominic says. He followed that with a 4, another straight 6, then a 4. Got a lot of time for Ian Bell me

Talking of balls India all out 239 runs behind. Well bowled JA 5 for 53. Cook did not enforce the follow on, England 7 for 0. Plenty of seats available but for me it is a no no. Remarkably after my trip there to see 2 days of the Sri Lankan Test 3 years ago, not one spot of rain has fallen during play...yet
