Poland is a country of some 38 million. thats about 8 times the population of Scotland.

in the last Champions League qualifying round they beat their competition 5-0 in Warsaw.

this is going to be a tuff qualifier for the Celts. if they go through, it will be considered a fantastic achievement for a scottish team in the Champions League. an achievement worthy of tremendous praise and admiration.

If we have any ambitions of playing in the group stages and competing with the top clubs, we have tae beat Legia Warsaw fairly easily.

i agree, llcsc. we do. But the reality on the ground is that with the current team and a new manager, we're already punching above our weight with the likes of legia warsaw.

i predict a 2-0 defeat for us in Warsaw, and a tuff nailbiter in Scotland that could go either way. will be over the moon if I'm proven wrong.

if we get to the group stage, we'll be hammered, as usual.

I didnt see their games v St Pats, I will however predict that they are a pish poor side who we should be beating home and away.
