Good interview, I am glad I am an optemist and not a pessimist because I have been reading a lot of other forest forums and there is a lot of people so pessimistic about the new season.I like to walk around with a happy face around footy fans and being optemistic gives one a lift with something to look forward to(I have other thing to look forward to as well)It is looking pretty god around the city ground(or KCG maybe)the way we are going we will have to get rid of about 6 more players or send a lot out on loan. Any thoughts on that anybody

I think we need another CM and another striker, otherwise I think we're done. Assuming that the defenders are going to be fit in the next 2-3 weeks.

    Maybe Mr Pearce doesn't agree.

Minimum 4 more to go, now Majewski has gone and it looks like Henderson next.

I would like to see just one decent goal scorer come. Would no doubt be a loan, but save on 4 players wages and we could get one.
Another winger would be nice, it would hot up the options.
With the injuries back, we have a squad big enough to do a job.
Pearce has been very frugal up to yet. I support the drive for E

You can only buy what is available. Calderfool was a joke. To Play Holt almost on the wing was laughable. He did not Know his **** from his elbow and i was ridiculed for saying that id rather not get promoted under him because he did not have a clue and to lead us into a different league under him was a joke. We got promoted almost because everyone else gave it away. saying that, i wonder how many transfers we have lost out on because of our old transfer policy ??We were never the greatest at getting prepared for a new season and always seemed to be playing catch up in regards to new players

Ah yes, the good old days of the acquisition panel.

When David Pleat used to advise who to buy and how much to pay.

Then Mark Arthur would go to the players club with Pleat's outdated valuation and then spend the next 2 months increasing the bid by a fiver a week, until the selling chairman went public in telling us to get lost!!

    Lihaj 26
    Harding 31
    Collins 34
    Cohen 27
    Lansbury 24
    Reid 32
    Mackie 29
    Fox 28
    Halford 30
    Lascelles 21
    Paterson 23
    Wilson 29
    Blackstock 28
    Vaughan 31
    Hobbs 26
    De Vries 34
    McLaughlin 24
    Cox 27
    Osborn 19
    Abdoun 28
    Fryatt 28
    Veldwijk 23
    Laing 21
    Mancienne 26
    Hunt 24
Henderson not included cos I expect him gone.

So thats 5 players under the age of 24, including the keeper???

Exactly how much bloody experience do you want?
It's young quick legs we want. Especially as those younger legs will not get so many injuries.
