Who's the oldest (or longest fan) in here?

With Basie saying he first attended a game in 1948 (yes, the Queen wasn't even on the throne back then), I'm curious as to who are the oldest fans or longest fans in here.

Basie might top this list but I think Clactonred, 45red and ziga would follow very close behind. Who else are our oldest and longest running fans?

(On a side note; Although Basie's thread on the environment in Derby is not footy related, I'm prepared to indulge him and let it remain here in main until such time I fell there's a need to transfer it to AOB. As the oldest or 1 of the oldest, if he wants to talk other stuff on main once or twice a week, I'm happy to oblige unless of course it gets hijacked or goes south, then only will the moderating touch be needed. The same goes for this thread which will eventually find its way onto AO

My 1st forest match was 28th dec 1985 against Liverpool in a 1-1 draw, so nearly 30 years a fan.

Not trying to be rude Es***, but you did say once that your first game was a Shrewsbury v Notts County League Cup match in 1990 at ML, did you not?

My first game, away at Wolves, Boxing day, 1980...I'm originally from Wolverhampton and despite the fact that my Granddad bought me a Wolves season ticket that season, I was supporting Forest!

4-1 win and then off to a family party to laugh at my dad and uncles, all Wolves fans.

I can't remwmber the game but I can remember sitting on benches in front of the white wall that went round the ground and I must have been some where between 8-12 years old and it was blackpool I think because well over 40 year old sir stanly mathews was playing and passed within feet of me flying up the wing. those were the days when it was all black and white

Great, you gotta experience our last FA Cup win and the nearly team of 1968.

Do you think the FA Cup run interfered with our pursuit of the League title?

I saw Forest play Bolton,(I think it was Nat Lofthouse's last season), also Chelsea with Greaves playing before he went to Italy and Everton with Roy Vernon. I think it was 59/60 season but I didn't become a fan.

I grew up reading about Lofthouse and Greaves exploits. Greaves I know was a superb finisher. I used to enjoy reading his column on Shoot magazine. Had a lot of good things to impart to strikers.

Lofthouse I wasn't able to garner much info, was he really that good in the flesh?
