Thread: The Rams...doing it the right way

The Rams...doing it the right way

Stabilisation, control, quietly building, the whole club moving forward together, both backroom staff and coaching staff joined up. Tremendous spirit amongst the squad.
    Reasonable expectations and great football.
From top down a lesson that perhaps some clubs close by could learn from. There are forest fans in here with their head in their hands supporting a club that doesnt know its **** from its elbow and no sense of unity. Give thanks we do not have a clumsy "Billionaire" owner with a nice new toy!
    Happy days..

Whether it can be described as the right way is a matter of opinion! But it has been a successful strategy to date and when one looks at leeds and Forest and Cardiff then one can only be grateful that our owners let experienced football people manage the club long may it continue!

    Two good posts chaps.

It's great to see the club in such a healthy state. The biggest success is everyone seems to be "pulling in the same direction". That continuity breeds harmony, and that creates a healthy working environment, in which we seem to be thriving!

In past years you often heard rumors of discontent amongst players & manager, but since the arrival of Mac & Co. all we have heard is how much they respect him & his system. I am hoping for the best this coming season, but, having been a Rams supporter for over 60 years, I have learned that disappointment can be just round the next bend.

Now I am a cynic but I have just listened to Sam Rush on the radio and he was pretty specific. I don't hear the spin the some do. No false promises but there will be more loans brought in. Evans identifies players,Mac says yay or nay and Rush then Does what he can to bring then in. A simple model where we get the best people we can and let them do what they are paid to do. Helps of course to be recognised as playing football the right way. Having said all that if we get turned over on Saturday I want Mac out!

He must be on a spending spree, I saw him in Boots in Westfield at lunchtime.

    He didn't recognise me either.

    Git!
