    The Tifosy thingy...

I just checked and see they are up to £230K with 3 days to go.
I think that is absolutely astounding. I have put in a couple of tenners but when they started I thought they had zero chance of achieving their target, but now it looks that they will make it with time to spare.
A brilliant effort by all those that have worked so hard to make it happen, you should all get a medal.

It is a staggering achievement from Blues fans, who raised £45,000 over Thursday and Friday alone to meet the challenge.

That consisted of £11,000 in five hours on Friday night, while another £7,500 was collected on Saturday despite having already reached the target.

The initiative closed last night with in excess of £260,000 raised – and now preparations are under way to spend it on the youth set-up.

Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin said: ‘This is what being a community club is all about and I would like to thank each and every person who enabled us to reach this total.

‘It once again demonstrates why this is the most incredible club in the world – with the best supporters in the world.

‘Nowadays at Pompey we pride ourselves on listening to ideas.
