This is a genuine question, how come Celtic Park was only used for the CG opening ceremony but wasn't available for Celtic's game last week yet Ibrox was being used right through the games for Rugby & was fine for the Hibs game?
Is it because Celtic have to play all their qualifiers at the one place or something?

Cheers for the answer, someone was on about it the other night & I thought it seemed a bit odd.
Surely the Rangers supporters would have thought you would have been back at home for the Legia Warsaw game if you controlled everything...

The only pitch alteration was the big "G" painted in the centre circle, some thought it meant Glasgow 2014 but was actually an acknowledgement of the utter Guff that is played there (or Gash or Grim ... take yer pick all are pretty accu
