What a loss!

Robin Williams has left us. I'm shocked and saddened by his death.

The tragedy of comedy.

From awakenings,Good morning Vietnam,Patch Adams, it's a long list. So talented.

I felt really sad when I heard about this. Maybe not entirely shocked - I always had a sense of a deep sadness in his eyes that belied the huge smile and crazy comic genius. Genuinely one of my favourite actors/comedians - he could have me crying with laughter one minute, then crying real tears with such poignancy the next. I always felt that the sad bit was real, not acted, or maybe he was a so much better actor than I ever gave him credit for.

Thank you for the laughs, Mr Williams, and the tears were okay too. I really wish that things never had to get so bad for you. I hope that the next part of your journey comes with a suitcase packed full of laughter. xxx

Huge loss. Felt like apart of my childhood had also passed away.

Its sad to think that a man that brought so much laughter and happiness into so many lives couldn't find the happiness in his own life, or see the point...of going on with their own life.
