Time for me to bang on about this formation again... but I really feel we should give it a go.

We seem to be struggling getting numbers around the ball to play our crisp passing game, it's becoming a bit pedestrian and readable I feel.

I'd like to see a back four with Omar or Eustace in front then Bryson, Hendrick, and Hughes as a central 3 with Russell up with Martin.

I think this would give us an extra option of a pass in the middle of the park, bring Hughes back where he's more of a threat and solve the winger issues. We'd still have width from the full backs and with the holding mid it'd allow 2 or 3 of the mid 3 to push on a keep possession higher up the pitch. May take a few games to adjust to, but I think it'd be a decent plan b and could become a plan a very quickly. Just don't think 4-3-3 will work as we'll this season as it did last.
