Issues with the forum

Most of you will have experienced some difficulty in signing in and accessing the forums of late.

I have raised the matter with the Editors. They assured me they are aware of the problems which they explained are due to technical work being done on the centralised forums which is part of a larger network.

I have also raised some suggestions to the mode changed to 'topic' permanently, reallowing avatars and having a PM function if possible.

Let's hope we can see improvements but in the meantime, we'll just have to bear with the current situation.

Plenty of problems lately, can't get on most of the time. Someone on the Swindon board who has had similar difficulties to myself has accused Footymad of introducing spyware in an attempt to boost advertising. So in effect they are trying to suss out what turns you on so just like Amazon respond with adverts hopefully to your liking.

back to the issue. I now use ******* and get no ads/spyware/malware. Site runs perfect now, so there may be something in the accusation.
