    Rant Against UEFA

Wtf are they about? A no mark team from the Sweaty's pub league goes through after having their kilt covered asses kicked because of what seems to have been a simple error by the ass kicking club. Hardly grand scale corruption was it?

Not only that but apparently they are seeded. Which means they have a decent chance of going into the group stages because, presumably, being seeded means they will play some equally insignificant club from an equally useless league.

And two games last night, Besiktas v Arsenal & Napoli v Bilbao stood out as being games where any of that lot could mullah the sweaties without breaking sweat.

So how in f_ucks did the *******s get seeded? It's bad enough seeing the no marks reinstated, but SEEDED. FFS.

I've got the harris about it because I'm flying up to Glasgow in a couple of hours for a meeting (not football related) with one of their directors who has been giving me grief about what a MASSIVE club they are ever since I made the mi

Well i guess you could call them a massive club, but only in relation to their own league of 1. Outside of that they are has beens, minnows.

Seeding, imo, is stupid, should be luck of the draw. But thats just me.

Just remember to ask them not to punish you should you make a clerical error.

Yester evening, the ITV network were excitedly informing viewers, that ITV4 would be broadcasting the second-leg of Celtic v NK Maribor, tuesday August 26.

The invited guests would include Gordon Strachen and Kenny Dalglish. This was announced as an ITV coup and the audience were reminded that the minor channel ITV4 would be...blah,blah,blah

Now this may be all very well in ITV land, however the BBC football main page has not deigned tonights 1st leg as todays main interest.

They are going with Fulham v Wolves and quite rightly in my opinion; as the BBC don't have a healthy view of Celtic's first-leg chances.

Now before you lot,ask who the hell are NK Maribor and how the heck do they get a tie with the legends of Scotland, lets have a bit of repect shown.

NK Maribor were formed in 1960 and are current Slovene First League champions. In their last Qualifying third round match they beat Maccibi Tel Aviv 2-3 on aggregate.

So an interesting evening beckons for Ronny Deila and his indomita

While we are on this subject of governing bodies.

FIFA banned Barcelona last year from making any transfer signings for 14 months. Then they upheld it for this transfer window, where they signed stacks of players.

So why did they do that? The transfer embargo was suspended so they could sign all these players.WTF is that about?
I`m sure if that would have been a Man City or a Galatasary, they would not have been able to sign anyone?

    Different rules for different clubs.

UEFA are ****ing scared of Man City because it will upset their love ins with Barca, Real and Bayern.
