    re: Dundee

    Dundee has its good bits.

Broughty Ferry is nice, love the pubs there, and the western side of the City Centre out the Perth Road is ok.
Driving across the Tay Bridge from Fife on a fine day, it's a nice natural setting for a city - not quite Golden Gate into San Francisco nice, but not bad at all.

However, as with every city there's down sides, and driving off the Kingsway or Forfar Road never seems a good idea as you invariably end up in some semi-derelict jakey schemie.

As for the football teams, I believe the dark blue one is historically more successful...but having two senior clubs in a city of 150,000 is a pile of nonsense surely?

To be fair the city centre certainly looks the part.. Huge improvement from the 60s even up until recent years..

Aye 2 teams for a small city in the top flight isn't maybe ideal.. But I would think the faithful wouldn't have it any other way..

The Kingsway looks much nicer than Aberdeens Anderson Drive.. It's a shame the cooncil took oot the 1000s of roses right throughout the drive..
