    Shotton

    Derby fan here, we've just signed Shotton from Stoke. He was with you last season, just wondering how you rated him?

    Well we didnt sign him when we had the chance, Owen Coyle wanted him, Uwe Rosler didnt, what does that tell you.

    Did the fans not rate him then or did Rosler just have his own players to bring in? Would Latics fans have been upset by signing him? Is he a bit like Boyce?

    He was average at best and not a player for building a promotion push on ..
    might do a job as cover .

    He may well work out for you but in my opinion he was truly dreadful for us. One of most un-coordinated players I have ever seen at Wigan. Defensive lapses a plenty - hard to say if he is worse at centre half or fullback. Good luck.
