    He seems to have been out a very long time did he have a set back with his injury?

    Back training and running according to McClaren a few weeks back. Not heard anything else.

    think it was unrelated niggle, as often happens when players have been out for ages.

    think it might of been the currently en vogue Hip Flexor, or pos ankle

    As far as I can tell, hip flexor seems to be the new term for groin strain. Can anyone tell me differently?

    so is the 'hip flexor' the new cool 'must have' injury? a little but like the metatarsal back in the days when becks got it and everyone else followed suit.
