    Political Correctness

In view of the profile of the abuse issue and the necessity to blame someone, where does political correctness end and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice begin? There must be loads of people bricking it just now, thinking they were doing the right thing but now having second thoughts.

It should be simple. The law is the law, if you break the law you are punished. Regardless of anything.

Actually in the main conclusions the Jay report did not blame "political correctness".

You don't happen to be a public employee, do you, or perhaps a member of the Labour Party?

Worse than that he's belongs to a vile group of people who live under the banner of socialist, even though they peddle anti social causes. There sole point of being is to stir unrest and cause decent people as many problems as possible

Political correctness is just a smoke screen - in any given situation something is correct or it isn't.
Example - someone says - my next door neighbours are from ... and they lie to me all of the time and when they borrow things they don't return them and deny ever borrowing the things I have lent them. They let me do a job for them and then won't pay the price we agreed upon. They are very poor neighbours and I wish they didn't live next door to me. Now all of this is correct - it is a list of facts. However, as soon as anyone says anything negative (although totally true) about someone from ... , then they are told - 'you can't say that it's not politically correct' - in other words they are prohibited from speaking the truth. Political correctness should not exist - it's either correct or it's not!!!!

A conspiracy is an agreement to commit a criminal offence - I doubt that could be proved. To be guilty of perverting the course of justice a person must do an act that tends and is intended to pervert the course of justice. I doubt whether anyone had such an intent and, more importantly there has to be a 'course of justice' in existence. One of the issues in Rotherham was that there was no 'course of justice' because the police were, on the face of it, not acting upon such complaints and information that they received.

Probably the only possible offences are 'misconduct in a public office' where it is necessary to prove 'willful' misconduc

'Politically correct' is an invention of the media who use it as a pejorative term for people who make an effort to try to be even ha
