I just watched some of the France v. Spain friendly.
Using Transfermarkt's figures, Spain's starting XI, alone, is worth 304 million Euros, and they barely created a chance!

I don't get the modern trend for televising friendlies. They are usually poor games, with no one wanting to get injured, managers trying different things out to see if they work etc. If it wasn't the media trying to give more and more football to the public, these games would go unnoticed like they used to. I see the slating England are getting for the game against Norway. I thought no injuries would be the plus point, but apparently they should approach it like a world cup final according to the press.
