    Jim McIntyre Departs

Jim McIntyre has left the club to become the new Manager of Ross County F.C

Best Wishes and Good Luck to him for the Future.

The process to find a replacement manager will begin immediately!

Who will be the new Queen of the South manager?

Thoughts please? Terry Butcher or Kenny Shiels for me.

Neither Shiels or Butcher for me but another progressive young manager with ambition along the lines of McIntyre.
Good luck to Jim at Ross as he may require it.
Always the same. Once you have a bit of success at Queen's the big boys come along with the cheque book.

When an opportunity arises, most people generally go for it. If we continue to appoint good Managers then it will most certainly happen again !

It is testament to the quality of our last 2 managers that they have been snapped up by SPL clubs.

I am sure he would always be looking for an opportunity to return to SPL management having already sampled it.

Realistically, that was not going to happen with us - certainly not in the next 2 to 3 years anyway.

A very positive, professional and decent individual I wish him all the best and hope he can keep County up.

Received totally unjustified criticism last season - a promoted team achieving a play-off spot was the very best we could hope for.

Always encouraged his teams to play positive, attacking football which we have become accustomed to. Mind you, who was it that compared his style to that of Gus ?!

With all the injuries and this disruption this could well turn out to be a challenging season.

However, we have a Board of Direct

What about Gary Locke as replacement ? Really got Hearts going at the tail end of last season and is an enthusiastic young guy.

JR, I think he would be a good fit but get the impression he is enjoying life at Rugby Park and that Killie are handily placed to replace Magic should the need arise.

    Peterhead boss seems to being a very good job at the moment, apart from that think Butcher the best replacement, what about David Moyes, think he's clunked [!]128526;
