I went to see them in the very early '80s at Lancaster University and they were ace. The trip down and the entrance fee were £2.50. Then an few years later an ex off of mine wanted to gan see them somewhere else, we looked at prices and it were £25 so we ****ed them off of.

Their first album (Boy) was ace, Out of Control was a very good song, and I Will Follow was an absolute classic. October was an bit more experimental and the Edge's guitar was more to the fore, which was good, and Fire, Rejoice and Gloria were pretty ace songs as well. The third album (War) was when they started to crawl up their own arses I reckon, although Sunday Bloody Sunday wasert too bad. After that (around 1983) they became utter ****e in my view, and ofn't produced an single decent track since.

It all went to their heeds and the pap they of produced since then kind off of sums them up. I prefer to remember their first couple off of albums (and Under An Blood Red Sky), that was when they were an proper rock band. Now they're ****s.
