    September 11th

13 years ago, followers of the "religion of peace" murdered around 3,000 innocent people.

I was a daft 21 year old boy at the time and it seems like yesterday. Can't believe it was such a long time ago.

And it didn't even earn a mention on the news yesterday. Shameful.

    Are you sure?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/search?q=9%2F11 reveals five stories on the beeb website, and there was plenty on breakfast news too.

It got enough coverage. The anniversary of an event that happened 13 years ago isnt top billing on the news.

Well the heads and editors at the UK news desks and newspapers appear to agree with me that it doesnt deserve top billing.

I will also never forget that day and the consequences but that doesnt make it a top news item.

Who said it should have had top billing?

I dont think anyone did. You pointed out it didnt get a mention, someone else pointed out that actualy it got 5 mentions on the bbc and I pointed out that it wasnt a stop billing news item so that was probably fair enough. Why did you need that explained?
