    Swapping Scottish £ notes for English £ notes

    Would this shyte still be required of us, if we were a real country with a formal currency union with the rUK?

    Probably not as people would be very aware of the new arrangement...or it could go the other way, if Scotland are independent then people would just assume that the notes are no longer valid at all.


    I think it's totally pathetic that a country who votes for independence immediately comes grovelling back to the people you've abandoned and kicked in the teeth looking for help because your leader realised he wouldn't be able to get The Euro like he originally thought.

    Yea thats what I was thinking too, finally we would be respected as an equal partner in a union

    The Northern Bank ones were the worst, as if it's not hard enough getting your Ulster notes accepted they brought out these notes with see through plastic down the middle, barely looked like money!!!!
