Thought it was a harsh red myself.

Ref seemed to make up the rules as he went along, for both teams.

    Silly sending off IMO
Ref had already given a free kick when he went in and clattered forest player
    Ref had no other option

Had to go I'm afraid - might have got away with the initial foul but to then make another challenge was pretty brainless - could have cost us the point.

Just looked back at the goal and don't really understand why Keogh left Ass... to go for the ball when Buxton was already there..left two Derby players going for the ball and the goalscorer all alone...other than that thought Keogh was very good.

We seem to have too many players operating at 75% at the moment.

Not the biggest Buxton fan - he has a habit of losing his head and creating carnage is the dying minutes of matches... If only he had cleared the ball into row Z at wembley in the final minutes when he had the chance...

ridiculous post. How has Buxton let the club down? He is a blood and guts defender and has since stated he couldn't hear the whistle. We all know Jake so his eagerness to go for the next tackle, justifies his dedication to the cause. Don't be a fickle football fan. The guy is a credit to the rams.

    P.S... I am not Jake Buxton ;-)

Hate to agree, but Buxton was lucky to still be on the pitch at that point, made a couple of very clumsy challenges in the box, in one of which he practically pulled the other players shirt off, IMO he has looked a little outclassed in some games this season.

Yes I agree with you Swale. Bucko doesn't seem to be at his best. It could be the injury but today I agree he struggled against a very powerful centre forward. Maybe in a strange way the red card could give Bucko a breather & come back stronger.

It seemed as though he hadn't heard the whistle from the first challenge and played on, to correct you he didn't "clatter" Burke, it was a perfectly timed tackle, he got the whole ball first before touching the man. Exactly the same as the eustace tackle.

A common misunderstanding, playing the ball and then the man is still a foul. If you go in recklessly and dangerously, it's a booking.

But I agree, the tackle that Eustace was booked for, wasn't a foul, but 2 other challenges he made would get a booking more often than not, so he wasn't that hard done by!
