    I'd be mair suspicious of the timing of the boundary move than anything else - immediately prior to Holyrood and no debate or discussion.

    But, aye - I believe there's accepted conventions on geographical sea boundaries. UN law supersedes this sort of p*sh.

    UN law wouldnt apply as it is an internal matter for the UK. The accepted convention is as far as I know is a line of lattitude from the point where the land border ends.

    the YES campaign don't seem too concerned about the 1999 boundary. on the oil fields...
