I heard that at around 15.38 on saturday afternoon air traffic control at Manchester Airport picked up a UFO on their RADAR.

Now I hear that there is a massive search for a young lad in the Blackburn area. Blackburn Post reports "the ball boy at the south end of the stadium left the ground to look for the ball, he hasn't been seen since. Police assume he is still looking for the ball. Police are appealing for help to look for the lad and BRFC would like the ball returned to the club if it is ever found, preferably before the next game'.

Patrick Moore, a life long fan of BRFC who watched the game from above said "I suspect that the ball is now in orbit. When it re-enters the earths atmosphere, rather than heading for the goal as N. Ramis wished, it is most likely to melt".

By the way, I have searched the internet - high and low for the highlights of the Blackburn game. Can't find anything. Funny that.
