    Dawkins

I know he has his haters, but he was pivotal last night in my opinion.

He is so technically gifted, that when he floats inside, know one can get the ball of him.

This let's Bryson float to LB, Forsyth to sprint up the flank, with Bryson providing the outlet behind, and Dawkins inside if the cross isn't on.

People will cry out for Ibe, but imo there is no way we can drop Dawkins. He was crucial last night.

Only Hughes has more ability on the ball. If only his end product starts coming through...

    Totally agree with that!

    He was fantastic last night.

I'm now officially a Dawkins convert!

dawks link play was good last night but he needs to be more of a goal threat playing in that position. when Ibe came on he looked like he was going to score every time he got the ball. dawks had a couple of times he was in a really good position in their box but didn't seem the confidence to beat his man and get a shot on target.

it's nice to have these selection dilemmas. lots of competition for places.

Mcclaren holding Ibe back could work wonders, he's raring to go. When he gets a run in the side he'll be quality . As it is though dawks did well yesterday and deserves to keep his place

I'd rather have Ibe in the team that Dawkins from what I've seen so far. Every time Ibe gets the ball he's going on runs with it and threatened their goal 3 or 4 times yesterday whilst when Dawkins gets the ball he doesn't seem to have much urgency.

I trust Mac's judgement but my personal opinion is out of our four primary 'wide' men, Dawkins ranks 4th.

Ibe and Ward are better for sure, but Russell? Not impressed with Russell at all this season.

I'm a Dawkins fan, his link up play with Martin and Forsyth is a joy to watch and we are a better team with him in it.

did you go to Sheffield wed away? that's the worst game I've seen any derby player have for a long time. interested if you think Charlton was worse? (if you went to both of course, as I wasn't at Charlton away).
