Solksjaer as well. He kinda saved Vincent Tan by agreeing to take over the reins, following the amount of contempt Tan was getting from home fans and throughout the footballing fraternity.

It gave him some breathing space. Pullis is favoured it appears, sparks could fly with that appointment. Pullis will want a major say in transfers and won't like interference of any kind.

But he could be the one to get them going again.
