I saw the highlights when we beat Birmingham, did anybody else see Helan after he scored, he went as if to take his shirt off in celebration...but didn't do it...I wonder if...and hope that, Mr Gray has pointed out that all that does is guarantee an unnecessary booking...something we can well do without, particularly with such a small squad as ours.

let's hope that he has clamped down on it.

On the subject of Helan Ray...He looks ten times fitter than last season.
As soon as he runs onto the pitch (fair enough, off the bench, but it seems to be working at the minute) he's like a big bustling pile of muscle that just can't wait to get stuck in.
His pace is unreal...And the way he takes people on is a pleasure to watch.
Keep up the good work Jeremy...Another player that our Stu has sorted out.

yes, Braggy, the spirit in the squad must be so, so high...there's lads on the bench who could reasonably expect to be playing, but there's no whining or whinging, no histrionics and banging transfer requests in.

long may this continue.

the last time I felt this 'content' with Wednesday was that spell we went through when Jones got us winning almost every week and before that Big Ron...lovely days.
